SPOKE’N’WORD in Warsaw, 2017

Recently I did some VJ-ing (which is basically mixing the images live) at a slam poetry night curated by Natalia Malek, a great Polish poet (whom I like). Lucjan the Dog accompanied me on rehearsals, quietly sleeping on the bunch of the cables, as usual (his other fetish is public transport; he just adores to hop in a random bus, so we needed to come up with a Bus Alert at a walk). The performers came from a few countries and we talked in English but their texts were presented in original, with the translation into Polish screened behind them. So, it was quite challenging to follow them rapping in Hebrew and do the incantations in Portuguese, but me and Lucek can never be discouraged (especially when we have a bowl of water and a tin can of dog food) (at least some of us two).

Congrats to the artists, congrats to the curator (who is an artist herself, too), and enjoy this little Illustrated Report From The Event!
